When did you start working here?: April 2019
Where else have you worked? I spent three years in Tallahassee, Florida at WCTV. There I was the Capital City Correspondent covering local politics. Prior to that, I spent two years with Calkins Media in Pennsylvania as a print reporter and video reporter for three local newspapers.
Where did you go to college?: Hofstra University, go Pride!
What are you most proud of when it comes to your work?: In Tallahassee I had the opportunity to cover a long term FBI investigation into political corruption at City Hall. Learning how to really did into a story, while bringing people important information about how their elected officials are behaving and doing business is a role I did not take lightly.
What are you most proud of in your own life?: Aside from my family, the accomplishments that I had to work extremely hard for are the things I am most proud of in my personal life... graduating from Hofstra with a dual major in journalism and political science, winning three national championship titles with Hofstra Cheerleading co-ed, and having my story on how some home sharing companies are skipping out on paying local tourism taxes be named investigative report of the year by the Florida Associated Press, to name a few.
What do you love about living in the Tri-State?: I still have a lot to learn about the area, but so far I love the beautiful skyline and architecture. I love that the area treasures the historic buildings and that a lot of development has rehabbed the old facades instead of tearing them down.
What are your favorite local hangouts/places, sports & cultural institutions?: So far, walking along the riverfront and hanging out at my local coffee shop have to be my top two hang out places!

Books: Perks of Being a Wallflower

Apps I can't live without: I’d like to believe I can live without most apps, but if I had to pick a favorite I would pick Instagram.
