CINCINNATI -- Dave Brown's reunion with his son Tony Wong at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport wasn't like most holiday homecomings: This was the first time that Brown would meet his 43-year-old son.
Separated by continents, Wong was able to find his father after searching through the thousands of Dave Browns in the United States.
Brown said he met Wong's mother while he was in the Air Force in Taiwan. He was sent back to the U.S. a month before his son was born and never returned to Taiwan.
"I got into drugs and alcohol problems and the years went by and I lost all contact with them," he said.
Wong will spend this Christmas in Cincinnati with his father and the two half brothers and half sister that he has never met.
"If I was in the position I would not care to see my father who abandoned me," Brown said. "The idea that it was going to happen just blew my mind."
