After a year of virtual learning, canceled sports and limited social events, this year’s graduating seniors are also facing a non-traditional graduation. Just like last year’s seniors, many students are once again marking graduation with virtual commencements, drive-by celebrations and yard signs and front door decorations.

But there are still some sweet opportunities for seniors. Krispy Kreme is bringing back their tasty way of celebrating graduates — with special doughnuts, of course. Their “Graduate Dozen” box includes a variety of fan-favorite doughnuts dressed up to honor the class of 2021, spelling out “2021” in a row.

Flavors include chocolate iced kreme filled, original glazed white iced, cake-batter filled, strawberry iced kreme filled and yellow iced original glazed. The limited-edition dozen will be available May 10-16 via drive-thru, in-shop or by ordering online via Krispy Kreme’s website or app, while supplies last.

As an extra-special treat, on May 13, the Graduate Dozen will be free to any high school or college senior who visits a Krispy Kreme dressed in their graduation cap and gown or “Class of 2021” apparel (T-shirt, sweatshirt, letterman jacket, etc.). There is no purchase necessary.

If you’re looking for more than some doughnuts to celebrate, Sam’s Club is once again offering smaller-sized graduation cakes for at-home celebrations.

The personalized cakes are available in their bakeries in various sizes, ranging from a 10-inch single-layer cake that serves eight to a mini two-tier cake that serves 12 or a quarter sheet cake that serves 24. You can also order individual cupcakes in 15 or 30 count.

Each cake can be personalized with the graduate’s school colors, a heartfelt message or even their photo. Because they’re specially made, the cakes are only available for order from your local Sam’s Club.

Do you know any graduates who have had to cancel their celebrations? Plying them with sweet treats just might make them feel better!
