MONROE, Ohio – A Cincinnati man was killed when his van crashed into the rear of a semi on I-75 Tuesday afternoon, officials said.
Ken Smith, 30, died at Atrium Medical Center, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Lebanon Post.
The crash occurred about 1:20 p.m. in the northbound lanes just north of State Route 63 in Warren County.
Smith's passenger, Shawntay Smith, 34, of Cincinnati, was transported to Atrium Medical Center and is expected to survive. The semi driver, Stephen Anthony, 70, from Mt. Sterling, Ohio, was not hurt.
The crash remains under investigation.
