If you’re like many people, your pitstops at 7-Eleven generally consist of simply grabbing a drink and a snack for the road, but 7-Eleven is hoping to change all of that with their new app, 7NOW. Going forward, you don’t need to go in person to get a Slurpee and a frozen pizza — 7-Eleven will deliver your items to your home in 30 minutes after just a few clicks on their app.
To celebrate the app’s launch, they are even giving away free AirPods, those wireless Apple headphones that will make you never want to use corded headphones again. Of course, like almost everything in life, there’s a catch. To be eligible to snag the AirPods, you’ll have to download the 7NOW app and order at least $50 worth of delivery items once the flash sale starts. And you’ll have to act fast, too.
7-Eleven will send a notification through the app on Thursday, July 25, announcing the beginning of the deal. The first 500 people nationwide to fill up their online cart and check out will receive a code that they can use to claim the AirPods. (Note: you also need to be at least 18 years old and a legal resident of the U.S.)
Pro tip: you may want to fill your cart up in advance of the announcement so you’re ready to finish the process when you get the notification. That will give you a better chance to score those AirPods!
If you win them, you’ll need to fill out an email acceptance form that comes to you from 7NOW fulfillment within 72 hours after you make your $50 order. The AirPods will be shipped to you within six weeks.
It’s not hard to spend $50 on the 7NOW app, especially once you discover that you can have more than 3,000 items delivered, including all of the different flavored Slurpees as well as pizzas, chips, and ice cream. 7-Eleven will even bring you alcohol or cigarettes! You can also order a 7-Eleven T-shirt if you’re so inclined. Plus, if you’re one of the lucky ones on July 25, you’ll get a pair of $160 AirPods totally for free.
