If you’ve ever wanted to live like royalty — and let’s be honest, who hasn’t? — Gevalia Kaffe has an opportunity you do not want to pass up.

In their search for a “coffee queen,” the coffee brand is looking for someone who loves coffee — and someone who wouldn’t mind spending an entire week getting the royal treatment in a Scottish castle!

All coffee lovers in the U.S. are welcome to apply for a chance to be crowned Gevalia’s Coffee Queen now through Dec. 21. One lucky winner will be chosen around Dec. 30 and given the keys to the castle.

The winner will receive two round-trip airline tickets to Scotland and six nights’ accommodations at Carlowrie Castle. Built in 1852, the castle is located in Edinburgh and has 12 bedrooms and 11 bathrooms.

After being a family home for generations, it is now mostly used for events like weddings and other big parties.

Other perks of being crowned Gevalia’s Coffee Queen include a $5,000 “salary” (presented as a check), a personal butler and chef, relaxing coffee-inspired spa treatments and private lessons on how to prepare fancy coffee drinks at home.

The winner will also get the opportunity to participate in excursions and receive some Gevalia-branded swag.

To apply, just visit Gevalia’s contest website and complete a short form. You’ll be asked to briefly describe how you’re a coffee queen in real life.

The contest is open to anyone ages 18 and older residing in any of the 50 States. A panel of judges will choose the winner based on attitude (defined as the entrant displaying confidence through the submission, but also conveying a relatable, self-aware, “witty-funny” sense of humor), adherence of the submission to contest theme and creativity/originality.

If you are selected as winner and want to be crowned Coffee Queen but don’t want to take a trip, you can instead opt for a $25,000 check, plus the $5,000 check you would have gotten on the trip.

The trip will take place from March 22-28, 2020. You can read the official rules by visiting Gevalia’s website.

If you don’t win Gevalia’s title but still want to feel like the coffee queen of your own home, you might want to get yourself an elegant pour-over maker, like this Chemex classic pour-over glass coffee maker.

And while you’re at it, you might need a milk frother, too, like this Zulay handheld milk frother that comes in quite a few colors. In black, it’s just $12.99 on Amazon.
