CINCINNATI — With a week full of election uncertainty, now might be the perfect time for a little early holiday cheer in the Tri-State.

Christmas Nights of Lights: Dusk-10 p.m. Friday-Jan. 9. Coney Island Amusement Park, 6201 Kellogg Ave., Anderson Twp. $7 per person. Christmas Nights of Lights at Coney Island is a drive-thru Christmas lights show set to music. Winterwald Christmas Market: Noon-8 p.m. Saturday; noon-5 p.m. Sunday. Germania Society, 3529 Kemper Rd., Colerain. Winterwald is a small but authentic German Christmas Market in the Cincinnati region located in Germania’s Biergarten and Pavilion. Vendors will be serving traditional German food, German Bier, Glühwein (hot mulled wine), and German pastries.
There will also be unique imported German gifts such as Glaskugen, steins, nutcrackers and smokers, pyramids, ornaments, linens, toys, and Advent calendars. www.germaniasociety.com

The UC Health Ice Rink: Noon-9 p.m. daily Saturday-Feb. 12. Fountain Square, 520 Vine St., Downtown. $10-$15. The UC Health Ice Rink returns to Fountain Square this weekend with a few new twists. First up -- bumper cars on ice. That's right, the ice rink is introducing single person bumper cars people can ride in addition to ice skating. The bumper cars are designed to help keep people safely socially distanced due to COVID-19. In addition to the bumper cars, reservations to skate also are required to partake in this Cincinnati holiday tradition. myfountainsquare.com
