CINCINNATI – Love is in the air, food served with a purpose is in Over-the-Rhine and a beach party are all on the menu this weekend.

Social OTR Grand Opening: 4 p.m.-midnight Thursday. Social OTR, 1819 Elm St., Over-the-Rhine. Help Social OTR celebrate its grand opening with $5 house wines, $1 oysters and $3 drafts. Dine and learn about the food and drink you are consuming during this unique dining experience inside the Newport Aquarium. Chefs will be on hand to explain the dishes being served. This is the one time of year where it is okay to run around Mount Adams in your underwear. Don't worry, we won't talk about that other time. All of the proceeds from this fun, one-mile run and after party at Mount Adams Pavilion goes to research to find a cure for neurofibromatosis (NF), a genetic tumor disorder that affects one in every 3,000 births. cupids.org
