Celebration of Life for Harv: 4-6 p.m. Friday. Northside Yacht Club, 4227 Spring Grove Ave., Northside. Come celebrate the life of DJ Harvination, who died from Lou Gehrig's disease in November. Many in the Queen City's music scene describe her as a person who touched many lives. Spend the afternoon at the Northside Yacht Club listening to Harv's music, dancing, telling stories and celebrating her life. For more information visit the event Facebook page.

Santa-Bration! at the Carousel: 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Friday and Saturday; 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday. Carol Ann's Carousel, 2 Rosa Parks St., Downtown. Free. Santa is coming to Carol Ann’s Carousel for the holiday. Enjoy family-fun holiday and winter-themed crafts all weekend, take a selfie with Santa from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday and enter for a chance to win a Cincinnati Parks’ goodie bag. Tokens must be purchased to ride the carousel. For more information visit the event Facebook page.

Music & More

Straight No Chaser: 7:30 p.m. Thursday. Taft Theatre, 317 E. Fifth St., Downtown. $39.50-$79.50. This all-male a cappella group breaks the mold of what you may expect. The group will create a "captivating sound of nine unadulterated human voices coming together to make extraordinary music that is moving people in a fundamental sense ... and with a sense of humor."

Nick Cannon Presents: Wild 'N Out: 8 p.m. Saturday. U.S. Bank Arena, 100 Broadway St., Downtown. $30-$175. Queen City, get ready to turn up when Nick Cannon brings "Wild 'N Out Live" to U.S. Bank Arena on Saturday. The live touring version of the popular MTV show will pit two groups of guest hip-hop stars, celebrities and comedians against one another in different challenge rounds. There also will be audience participation and live music.

Food & Drink

Resilience IPA Tappings: Beginning at 3 p.m. Thursday. Multiple locations. At least two of the nearly 15 local breweries who made Sierra Nevada's Resilience: Butte County IPA will hold special keg tappings of the beer Thursday afternoon. The Moerlein Lager House and Listermann Brewing Co. will serve the Sierra Nevada beer each made in house and donate 100 percent of proceeds from its sale to the Camp Fire Relief Fund, which benefits those affected by the devastating Northern California wildfire. For more information, visit the Moerlein Lager House and Listermann event Facebook pages.

Gift Wrap Night: 5-8 p.m. Thursday. Rhinegeist, 1910 Elm St., Over-the-Rhine. Join the folks at Rhinegeist in the brewery's taproom for its first-ever "Gift Wrap Night." All you need to do is bring gifts or pick up something last-minute at the merch store, then wrap all your gifts over a beer or two. Wrapping paper, gift bags, boxes and accessories will be available in the taproom. For more information, visit the event Facebook page.

Santa Paws: Pet photos with Santa: 6-9 p.m. Friday. Braxton Brewing Co., 27 W. Seventh St., Covington. Santa Claus will make an appearance in the Braxton taproom Friday to pose for photos with you and your dogs. You can then create a Christmas card that will make all the other dog moms and dads jealous.
