Ballet & Beer: 'King Arthur's Camelot'

Lauryn Hill 

Singer Lauryn Hill will perform for one night only in Procter & Gamble Hall at the Aronoff. The visit is part of the "Ms. Lauryn Hill Caravan: A Diaspora Calling!" concert series. With any luck, she'll perform some of her hits with the Fugees, too.

Shrine Circus at BB&T Arena

Now in its 96th year, the Shrine Circus continues to offer entertainment for all ages. Witness death-defying aerial acts, hilarious clowns and animals such as tigers and elephants.

Lady in Red

Cincy Chic’s 2017 Lady in Red is both a fundraiser and great way to save while shopping at Macy’s. Attendees will get a 20 percent store-wide discount while enjoying a fashion show, music, refreshments and fun activities. Proceeds will benefit the American Heart Association’s “Go Red for Women” campaign.

Braxton and Graeter’s beer tapping

Braxton Brewing Co. has been on a roll with beer releases and Friday’s tapping party may be its biggest yet. Why? Because the Covington craft brewery will unveil the Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip Milk Stout it created with Graeter’s. And yes, there will be actual scoops of ice cream available, too.

Festival of Laughs with Mike Epps

Last call for MadTree 1.0

Sometimes ends are truly just new beginnings. That will be the case this Saturday when the folks at MadTree Brewing permanently close the doors on the taproom they opened in 2013. There will be music by DJ Mowgli and $2 pint glasses for purchase. Don’t fret, MadTree 2.0 in Oakley will open its doors at 11 a.m. Tuesday.

Jewish and Israeli Film Festival

The Jewish and Israeli Film Festival, a month-long celebration of Jewish and Israeli culture shared through film, kicks off Saturday at the 20th Century Theatre in Oakley with a screening of "Mr. Predictable." Other film screenings and guest speaker events will follow throughout the month, with Jewish and Israeli films focusing on themes of "love, family, loss, memory and triumph." The Mayerson JCC of Cincinnati is hosting the festival.
