Cirque du Soleil’s OVO

Cirque du Soleil returns to Cincinnati with multiple performances at U.S. Bank Arena this weekend. The show, OVO, presents acrobats performing in a colorful ecosystem where insects work, eat, crawl, flutter, play, fight and look for love in a nonstop riot of energy and movement. Their world is disrupted when a mysterious egg shows up.

Buck’s Badass Bash

Who is ready for Bakersfield OTR's biggest bash of the year? The eatery will feature live music from Anthony Orio, face painters, circus acts, beer trucks, tacos, tequila, margaritas and bourbon at this party. Event proceeds will go to Over-the-Rhine Community Housing, a nonprofit community development organization that provides housing options and programs to help low-income residents.

Big Freedia

Fountain Square will bounce this Friday when New Orleans superstar Big Freedia performs a free show. Big Freedia is the unofficial ambassador and queen of bounce music, an energetic style of New Orleans hip-hop. She has appeared in her own reality show and also sang on Beyonce's smash hit "Formation."

M.e. Tour with Marsha Ambrosius and Eric Benet

Immerse yourself in the soulful songs of multi-Grammy Award-nominated musician Marsha Ambrosius this Saturday at OTR Live. The show is part of Ambrosius's nationwide tour with R&B, neo-soul singer-songwriter Eric Benet, who also will perform.

Cincinnati Beer Run

Chug-a-lug your way through the Cincinnati Beer Run this Saturday. Participants will get the chance to sample a new beer every half mile on the run's 2.5-mile course, which goes from Newport to Cincinnati and back. There's also an afterparty where you can consume even more beer. The run benefits local nonprofit Madonna House.

2017 Redlegs Run

If beer and running isn't your thing, maybe running and Cincinnati Reds baseball is. The 2017 Redlegs Run offers a 10K, 5K, one-mile family run and Gapper's Kids Fun Run on Saturday morning. Most races begin and end at Great American Ball Park, and the event benefits the Reds Community Fund's youth baseball outreach programs.

Loveland Food Truck Rally

Come hungry to the fourth annual Loveland Food Truck Rally this Saturday. More than 20 vendors are expected to participate in the rally at the Shoppers Haven Center in Loveland. There will be live music, too.

Asian Food Festival

The Asian Food Festival returns to Washington Park as a two-day event starting Saturday. WCPO food writer Grace Yek recommends loosening your belt before sampling multiple Asian dishes from a long list of vendors at this year's festival.
