MIDDLETOWN — Butler and Warren counties could see another new craft brewery open sometime this year.

Brian Yavorsky and co-owners recently signed a property lease in Middletown for their business under the temporary name “Unbridled Brewery,” as reported by WCPO media partner, The Journal-News. Construction is underway on the approximately 8,400-square-foot facility located at 3387 Cincinnati-Dayton Road.

Yavorksy told the Journal-News he and his business partners chose to build in Middletown because of nearby highway access, its location between Cincinnati and Dayton, and proximity to Cincinnati Premium Outlets and Miami Valley Gaming racino. He also believes Rivertown Brewng Company’s planned move from Lockland to Monroe will benefit Unbridled.

The brewers will have access to their facility once construction is complete in March. The facility will have a 20-barrel brewhouse, patio and taproom. Yarvoksy said he hopes to see the brewery open sometime in 2016 but is waiting for equipment delivery and installation before announcing an opening date.

Unbridled joins Municipal Brew Works that previously announced plans to open in neighboring downtown Hamilton’s former municipal building at 20 High Street.
