CINCINNATI - Healthy people make for happy communities.

Luckily, Greater Cincinnati is home to a host of world-class healthcare institutions filled with tens of thousands of people working hard to keep us all healthy and happy.

This month, as part of WCPO's newly launched Next Nine series, we're recognizing nine standout rising stars whose contributions are helping transform healthcare for thousands of local residents.

From community work to college classrooms to the operating room, these rising stars are blazing new trails as they work hard to keep Cincinnati healthy and vibrant.
