This Week's Find: Rooted Juicery + Kitchen for lighter, but filling fare during the holidays
Why We Love It: As a fellow customer put it, we’d eat vegan all the time if we could make food this delicious, filling and Instagram-worthy on our own. We started with an avocado toast appetizer, topped with dried red pepper, sea salt and creamy avocado ($7.) The Avocado Hummus Wrap, filled with soft sweet potatoes, was very filling ($10.) Rooted aided in a dietary restriction, replacing quinoa with zuchini noodles in the curry-inspired Bombay Bowl. The meal was finished off with a Banana Power Bite ($1.50.) We spent $28.83. Almost all of Rooted’s products are vegan and all are made with 100 percent organic ingredients. They offer a variety of raw pressed juices and nut milks ranging from $6 (minis) to $12. They offer smoothies and smoothie bowls in the $10-12 range. We’ll be back.
