COVINGTON, Ky. -- A driver crashed into a home early Wednesday morning, according to Covington police.
A Covington police officer saw a person driving recklessly before the driver crashed into the home on the corner of Garrard and East 21st Street. A mother and her two young daughters were asleep in the living room at the time of the crash, police said, but no one was hurt.
The crash caused significant damage to the home, police said. First responders transported the driver to the hospital, but the driver was released and is now in custody.
