Netflix will be streaming “Clueless” starting in June, and this is exactly the beloved ’90s flick we need to see right now!

Fans of the original who are on the verge of totally buggin’: Do not fret, this is definitely the 1995 movie you know and love. This is not a remake.

We are talking about the classic valley girl flick here, starring Alicia Silverstone as Cher, a 1990s Beverly Hills version of the meddling-yet-lovable protagonist of Jane Austen’s “Emma.”

And young Paul Rudd will be there as Josh, Cher’s well-intentioned, not-her-brother older step-step-brother. (If you haven’t seen it, trust me, it makes sense in the same way that Emma’s Mr. Knightley makes sense.)

“Clueless” will become available on the streaming giant starting on June 1, as will “E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial” and “All Dogs Go to Heaven,” so if you’re a Gen-Xer like me, you’re feeling like Netflix is dropping you a gift straight out of adolescence.

But back to “Clueless,” because some controversy erupted last year when we learned that a “Clueless” remake was in the works. Some die-hard fans didn’t think the movie, which feels so tethered to the ’90s — with its references to Luke Perry and the Baldwin brothers as heartthrobs, and a nod to “Ren and Stimpy,” not to mention the cameo from the Mighty Mighty Bosstones — needed an update for this decade. As if!

Yes, Cher or Josh might call out the irony, since “Clueless” is based on a novel published in 1815, but, like, whatever, you try driving in platforms.

We haven’t seen a remake or any more news about it in the meantime, which should calm the fears of some of the folks in the nothing-beats-the-original camp.

Some gems from this century are also coming to Netflix next month. “Lady Bird” will be available on June 3, as will a new season of “Queer Eye” (June 5) so, I know what I’m doing in the first week of June.

The “Queer Eye” Instagram account posted a preview of the new season, which is set in Philadelphia, and it looks like the Fab Five is as fierce as ever:
