Oak Hills girls’ soccer coach Chuck Laumann has stepped down after 25 years, Oak Hills Athletic Director Tony Hemmelgarn told WCPO.com Monday.

Laumann wants to be able to spend time watching his son, Thomas More baseball player Ben Laumann, and his daughter, Northern Kentucky University golfer Mackenzie Laumann, compete in their respective collegiate sports.

Chuck Laumann will remain a teacher and head baseball coach at Oak Hills.

Hemmelgarn said the Oak Hills athletic department thanks Laumann for his service and dedication over the years. Laumann won over 260 games at the school and over 100 girls’ soccer players played at the collegiate level. Oak Hills won seven league titles, five sectional titles and a district title under his leadership.

Oak Hills will soon post the position, Hemmelgarn said.
