The La Salle defense gave up its first touchdown of the season but the Lancers still won their fourth straight game, 28-14, over Scott County (Ky.) Friday night.

Cameron Porter rushed 26 times for 130 yards and two touchdowns to pace the Lancers’ ground attack. Griffin Merritt completed 14 of 21 passes for 218 yards and one score.

Jake Seibert caught that Merritt TD pass, finishing with four receptions for 99 yards.

La Salle had won two straight shutouts over West Clermont and East Central after giving up a field goal to Colerain in the opener.

La Salle will play at home for the third consecutive week when Winton Woods visits next Friday.
