WALTON, Ky. -- Fifty-seven-year-old David Justice, of Corinth, Kentucky, died Thursday afternoon after crashing at the Walton exit off southbound I-75.

At about 4:50 p.m. Thursday, Justice veered off the roadway into the grassy area next the exit ramp, striking a John Deere tractor used for mowing parked at mile marker 171. He was transported to St. Elizabeth's in Florence where he was pronounced deceased.

The Boone County Sheriff's Office said preliminary indicators are that Justice experienced a medical issue prior to the collision and that the tractor "parked well off the roadway" was not a contributing factor.

The incident is being investigated by the Boone County Sheriff’s Office Accident Reconstruction Unit.
