CINCINNATI — A founder of Eli’s BBQ launched a new delivery-only eatery Downtown.

Elias Leisring announced on FacebookMonday that his latest venture, Saundra’s Kitchen located at 214 E. 6th St. began taking lunch orders through its smartphone app.

The eatery plans to expand to dinner and weekend delivery options soon, Leisring said on his Facebook page. The eatery has no dine-in options.  Delivery range covers Downtown and most of Over-the-Rhine.

Once downloaded, customers can order meatballs with red sauce, a roasted tomato soup, turkey chili, lemon roasted asparagus, mashed potatoes, homemade caesar salad, Asian kale salad, ranch green salad, tomato vin green salad, sweet onion green salad, and beverages. Most food items range in price from $5-7 and can be ordered up to four days in advance of delivery.

Leisring said there are future plans to expand delivery radius as far north as Avondale, but did not set a timetable for when that would happen.

The smartphone app is currently available for download on Google Play and the iTunes store.
