CINCINNATI -- A Cincinnati man attempted to extort money from his father by faking his own kidnapping, according to police.
The police report filed Friday night said Marvez Washington, 25, asked an accomplice to photograph him tied up with duct tape covering his mouth.
Police said the accomplice then sent the pictures to Washington’s father with a demand for $100,000 ransom in exchange for Marvez’s safe return.
Both men were arrested and held in the Hamilton County Jail.
