LAWRENCEBURG, Ind. -- Perfect North Slopes is closing early for the 2016-2017 winter season.
"We tried week after week to provide you with the best snow possible," Perfect North posted on Facebook. "Spring has arrived with warm temperatures and plenty of rain."

The slopes were open Sunday and Monday thanks to "creative grooming," according to Perfect North's website.
"Even though there are some colder temperatures forecast, our snow base is too far gone to attempt a repeat of last weekend's rally," Perfect North said on Facebook.
A "Spring Carnival" is still on Perfect North's website calendar for March 5. The annual "Mud-stash" run/walk is scheduled for June 3.
Passes for winter 2017-2018 are now on sale.
