COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Newly released 911 calls describe the 120 seconds of chaos that left 11 people injured and a knife-wielding suspect dead Monday morning at The Ohio State University.

Several callers told dispatchers they saw a man, later identified as 20-year-old OSU student Abdul Razak Ali Artan, driving a car into a group of pedestrians and then slashing at them with a butcher knife.

“This guy in a Honda Civic came out, ran through the crowd, jumped out of his car and started chasing down people with a knife. He was running down Woodruff. And that’s all I seen. Oh my God,” one caller reported.

The suspect was shot and killed by OSU Policeman and Fairfield native Alan Horujko within a minute after the attack began.
