WARSAW, Ky. -- A Cincinnati man and his teenage passenger died Saturday afternoon in a head-on crash in Gallatin County.

Kyle Allbecker, 20, lost control along U.S. Route 42 near Warsaw and veered into the oncoming lane, Kentucky State Trooper Josh Lawson said.

Allbecker and two passengers -- 16-year-old Faith Anslinger and a 15-year-old boy -- weren't wearing seat belts, Lawson said.

Allbecker was partially ejected, and the Gallatin County coroner pronounced him dead at the scene. Anslinger was also pronounced dead, while paramedics flew the 15-year-old to University of Cincinnati Medical Center with serious injuries.

Jerry Allbecker is the driver's father. Now he has to face the fact that his son will never come home.

"It's just like a dream you can't wake up from," he said.

He said the boy was Kyle Allbecker's cousin and Anslinger was the cousin's girlfriend.

"She was a beautiful girl," her sister, Heather Alawada said. "She was a beautiful person. She had ambition."

Kyle Allbecker's siblings remembered him as "a good kid" who helped "everybody and anybody," sister Chesstyinna Allbecker said.

"I feel like I lost my heart and soul," brother Isaiah Allbecker said.

Lawson said the other driver also went in a medical helicopter to UC for treatment. His passenger was treated at the scene.

Lawson said the crash remains under investigation.
