CINCINNATI -- Before I moved here, the image of Cincinnati that always stuck out for me was the gorgeous skyline.

Now that I live here, that hasn’t changed.

When I think about our city, I think about the striking image of the buildings towering over the Ohio River and the John A. Roebling Suspension Bridge.

That’s the image hundreds of thousands of visitors see when they arrive in Cincinnati or see it on TV.

Like everything else, there’s more to the story.

So we brought together a team of journalists to tell you more about those majestic buildings — buildings you’ve probably seen from afar but might not know much about.

That’s what The Interactive Cincinnati Skyline project is all about.

Take a look at this beautiful image and click on the buildings to find out more about seven of the most important landmarks in Cincinnati.

For example, did you know Carew Tower once was the home of the office of the Major League Baseball commissioner and at another point, the National League president called the building home?

We hope long-time residents and guests alike will enjoy learning more about what makes Cincinnati special.
