SILVERTON, Ohio — Firefighters found a Silverton man dead inside his burning home Sunday afternoon.
The fire, which was first reported shortly after noon, broke out inside the front room of the man’s North Broadlawn Circle home. The cause remains under investigation.
He was dead when firefighters arrived, according to Deer Park-Silverton fire chief Dennis Meador.
Fire officials did not immediately disclose the victim’s name.
