MOUNT HEALTHY, Ohio -- One person was shot and killed Wednesday night in a Mount Healthy mobile home park, according to police, who have issued a warrant for the arrest of Cleveland Saunders IV in connection with the death.

Jaron Steele, who was in his 20s, was shot around 7 p.m. at 8000 Hamilton Ave. Lot 21, police said. Felicia Talbert, who identified herself as the victim’s aunt, said her family was struggling to process the loss of one of its members.

"The violence has to stop," she said. "You never think it’s going to happen in your back yard, but when it does, it really hurts."

Police took six people into questioning after investigating the scene, but said they had not made any arrests. The joint investigation between the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigative Section and the Mount Healthy Police Department resulted in a murder warrant being issued for Saunders.

Saunders is described as a black male, born on July 6, 1995. He is 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing about 160 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. His last known address was 8000 Hamilton Ave. Lot 41.

Police say Saunders has a previous history of aggravated robbery and should be considered armed and dangerous. If anyone knows Saunders whereabouts or sees him, they should immediately call 911.

Anyone with additional information is asked to call the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Criminal Investigative Section at (513) 851-6000 or Crime Stoppers at (513) 352-3040.
