CINCINNATI – The foodie scene in Cincinnati’s Over-the-Rhine neighborhood has been growing for several years now, and its celebrity has begun gaining the attention of diners in other cities.

The Chicago Tribune ran a travel feature highlighting some of OTR’s most popular eateries this week. In it, writer Mark Taylor shared a little history and reviews of Holtman’s, The Eagle, Pontiac Bourbon & BBQ, Quan Hapa, Graeter’s and Findlay Market with his Windy City readers.

"[A]n urban renewal program helped revitalize this historic area just north of downtown, turning it into a hub of the city's culinary scene," Taylor wrote.

Of course, we in the Queen City know there are more great bars and restaurants in OTR than one article can cover. Ranging between hot dogs turned gourmet, cocktails inspired by the ‘80s or biscuits made from scratch, it seems like almost every possible dining niche has or will find a home in OTR.
