MIDDLETOWN, Ohio — Fire crews are investigating a reported explosion on Fleming Road.
We have had a house explode in the 2500-B of Flemming Road. Please stay out of the area and find alternate routes.

Middletown spokesperson Shelby Quinlivan said one man was seriously injured in the explosion. The man was transported to Atrium Medical Center, and from there transported to Miami Valley Hospital via helicopter.
Pictures from the scene showed a house blocked off by caution tape and safety cones. A third-story window appeared damaged; smoke rose from the exterior of the house.
