Cincinnati Halloween parties celebrate the spookiest time of year

CINCINNATI -- From masquerades to costume contests, there are plenty of ways for adults to celebrate Halloween this year.

Here's a list of events to know for a spooky good time.

Halloweekend 2016 
When: 10 p.m.-2:30 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
Where: Energy Nightclub, 700 W. Pete Rose Way, Downtown.
Details: $5 over age 21, $10 women under age 21, $15 men under age 21 for Friday's Dancing Dead zombie dance party. $10 over age 21, $15 under age 21 for Saturday's Klub Kiss Halloween Party. For more information visit the event Facebook page.

Four Day Halloween Party
When: 6 p.m.-midnight Friday and Saturday.
Where: Darkness Brewing, 224 Fairfield Ave., Bellevue, Ky.
Details: $5. All ages on patio. 21 and older for bar. For two weekends in a row (the first weekend was Oct. 21-22) Northern Kentucky's newest brewery will host a small but scary haunted maze in its front lounge. There will also be food trucks, live music, the tapping of two new brews, the Witch Head Neredsbula Red IPA and Beach Park After Dark Dunkelweizen. HallowEve Brew Bash
When: 6-10 p.m. Friday.
Where: Ault Park, 5090 Observatory Circle, Mount Lookout.

The Traveler's Ball
When: 8 p.m.-2:30 a.m. Friday.

Rhinegeist Halloween Party
When: 8 p.m.-2 a.m. Friday.
Where: Rhinegeist, 1910 Elm St., Over-the-Rhine.
Details: Free. Featuring music by DJ Kenneth Wright, food from Gomez Salsa, catwalk costume contest and specialty Halloween brews.  For more information visit the event Facebook page.

Cincy Brass at Woodward Theater
When: 8 p.m.-midnight Friday.
Where: The Woodward Theater, 1404 Main St., Over-the-Rhine.
Details: $7 advance, $10 day of event. Ages 21 and up. Featuring music by Cincy Brass and Wesley Bright & the Honeytones, and men and women costume contests. For more information visit the event Facebook page.

Fifth Requiem
When: 8 p.m.-2:30 a.m. Friday.
Where: Northside Tavern, 4163 Hamilton Ave., Northside.

Balloween 13
When: 10 p.m.-2 a.m. Friday.
Where: OTR Live, 209 E 12th St., Over-the-Rhine.
Details: Free. Ages 21 and up. OTR Live is offering up a $1,000 Halloween costume contest party with deejays and drink specials. Visit the nightclub's Facebook page for more information. 

Trick or Freak: Sexiest Costume Party
When: 10 p.m.-2 a.m. Friday.
Where: Cameo, 4601 Kellogg Ave., Cincinnati.
Details: Free until midnight. Ages 21 and up. Cameo is offering $2,000 for the sexiest costume in Cincinnati. 

A Nightmare on 3rd Street
When: 10 p.m.-2 a.m. Saturday.
Where: Arnie's on the Levee, 120 E. 3rd St., Newport.
Details: Free entry with costume. Arnie's will offer a $100 prize to the best dressed man and woman, plus $2 loopy shots and $3 bartender's choice shots. Costume contest starts at midnight. For more information visit the event post on Facebook.

Queen City Radio presents Zombies!
When: 4 p.m.-2 a.m. Saturday.
Where: Queen City Radio, 222 W 12th St., Over-the-Rhine.
Details: DJ Matt Joy will wake the dead with his music and everyone is invited to come dressed as zombies. For more information visit the event post on Facebook. 

Nightmare on Elm St 2 Halloween Costume Party
When: 10 p.m.-2 a.m. Saturday.
Where: LEVEL Nightlife, 435 Elm St., Downtown

Ciroc'O'Ween Adult Costume Party VII - The Movie
When: 9 p.m.-2 a.m. Saturday.

American Horror Story Hotel 
When: 9 p.m.-midnight Saturday.
Where: Hotel Covington, 638 Madison Ave., Covington.

Halloween Costume Party with Open Bar at E+O Kitchen
When: 10 p.m.-2 a.m. Saturday.
Where: E+O Kitchen, 3520 Edwards Road, Hyde Park.

When: 6 p.m.-midnight Saturday.
Where: Lucky Turtle, 8621 Winton Road, Finneytown.

HorrorHound’s Halloween Party
When: 9 p.m.-1 a.m. Saturday.
Where: Northside Tavern, 4163 Hamilton Ave., Northside.

Pavilion’s 15th Annual Masquerade Ball
When: 6 p.m.-2 a.m. Saturday.
Where: Mount Adams Pavilion, 949 Pavilion St., Mount Adams.

Bryan Ryan Adams/gHOTh Topic/Cranblossoms NSYC Halloween

Where: Northside Yacht Club, 4227 Spring Grove Ave., Northside.

Malice Ball

Details: $50. Ages 21 and up. Featuring complimentary signature drink, live music by Cincinnati Civic Orchestra and the Naked Karate Girls, and hors d’oeuvres by students from the Midwest Culinary Institute at Cincinnati State. Disco of the Dead 2
When: 8-11 p.m. Saturday.
Where: Mainstrasse Village, E. 6th Street Promenade, Covington.
Details: Free. This Halloween-themed pub crawl and dance party returns for its second year in Mainstrasse Village. The pub crawl kicks off at Mac's Pizza Pub on Main Street and continues with a cocktail contest between area bartenders, cash prizes for costumes, Braxton Brewing beer on-site and music by DJ Dayna. 96 Rock's JD and Bridget will also be on had to give away Bengals tickets and a $100 Visa gift card. Sunday Funday Nightmare on Vine Street
