SILVERTON, Ohio -- A gunshot during a drug deal hit one suspect in the foot Saturday afternoon -- and narrowly missed his neighbor, the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office said.

Jeremy Rogers, 24, was selling marijuana to Leon Jones, 60, at an apartment on Montgomery Road, according to the sheriff's office.

Jones wasn't happy over the deal, so he took out a gun and said he was leaving with the drugs.

Rogers tried to take back the marijuana, so Jones shot him in the foot, the sheriff's office said. The round nearly hit a downstairs neighbor.

Jones is charged with aggravated robbery, felonious assault and having weapons under disability because of his past felony convictions.

Rogers is charged with one count of drug trafficking. He was treated at University of Cincinnati Medical Center and released.
