CINCINNATI -- Cincinnati police are looking for a 27-year-old man in connection with a fatal shooting last week that narrowly missed a 9-month-old baby.

Austin D. Perryman, also known as "David," is wanted on a charge of murder, according to an alert from the police department.

Cincinnati homicide investigators believe Perryman is responsible for the death of 37-year-old Michael Chichester, according to the department's alert.

Perryman is black, 5 feet 9 inches, about 195 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. His last known address is on Ripplegrove Drive in Colerain Township.

He may be driving a silver Infinity with Ohio license okate GTA7991

Chichester was found dead of a gunshot wound March 13 in a Winton Hills parking lot.

Shanika Jones, who lives nearby, didn’t see the shooter who killed Chichester -- but she did narrowly dodge a pair of bullets. Two of the shots fired at the victim shattered her living room window and narrowly missed her child.

"I heard the first gunshot, and my reflex was just to throw her to the floor," Jones said. Both she and the baby were unharmed.
