CINCINNATI -- Westwood residents and Cincinnati city officials will raise a pint Friday for the grand opening of West Side Brewing.

Cincinnati Mayor John Cranley will attend a ceremonial keg tapping at 2 p.m. Friday at the brewery, located at 3044 Harrison Ave. in Westwood.

"We are excited to bring a new gathering place for the west side community," said Joe Mumper, West Side Brewing president, in a news release. "Our variety of beers will have something for everybody. We are looking forward to becoming part of the fabric of the community, continuing the great Cincinnati tradition of locally crafted beer."
