CINCINNATI -- While most of Ohio's highest-caliber teams retained last week's rankings, Divisions 4-7 were in for a major shakedown this weekend. And don't even get us started on Northern Kentucky -- four weeks into the season, CovCath and Highlands still can't seem to shake their slump. Also look out for dark horse team Butler, who rose up to the No. 7 spot for DII-DIII after Week 3.

Ohio DI

Colerain retained its top spot in this week’s poll despite a loss to La Salle -- the top team in our Division II-III ranks -- on a field goal in the last seconds of the game. There were no changes in the Top 10, but don’t expect that next week. Colerain versus Mason is the only matchup between ranked teams in the week ahead. All of the Greater Catholic League South squads will take on quality teams from outside the Queen City. Springboro and Centerville are set to face undefeated schools in crossover GWOC affairs. Ohio DII-DIII

The top five teams from last week's DII-DIII rankings all won last weekend. Butler, who wasn’t ranked two weeks ago, continued its ascent up the rankings as they rose up to No. 7. All eyes will be on the Eastern Cincinnati Conference as Kings and Glen Este both are set to face foes that are hungry to crack next week’s Top 10. Complete Ohio DII-DIII rankings are available here.

Ohio DIV-DVII

This weekend’s schedule includes some blockbuster contests. GCL Co-eds open league play with Alter heading to Bishop Fenwick, and a Saturday night game between Badin and Roger Bacon looms large. In the CHL, surprising Indian Hill travels to Wyoming in the conference’s marquee game as our small-school rankings continue to develop. Complete Ohio DIV-DVII rankings are available here.

Northern Kentucky

It has been a crazy year in Northern Kentucky high school football -- not many Tri-State football fans would have thought Highlands and Covington Catholic would be a combined 1-7 heading into Week 4. However, very few teams have been able to capitalize on their ineptitude. This week’s top games include Cooper at Simon Kenton and CovCath at Beechwood. Complete Northern Kentucky rankings are available here.
