CLEVELAND (AP) — A judge has sentenced a Cleveland woman to 18 months in prison for inciting two 12-year-old girls to beat up an autistic child earlier this year.

Thirty-year-old Calia Harris apologized to the children in court Tuesday and said she should have used better judgment on April 29 when a fight broke out at a county housing complex that was captured on cellphone video.

The two girls got into a fight with a 12-year-old autistic girl and the autistic girl's sister. Prosecutors said Harris egged the kids on to more violence.

Harris had pleaded guilty to inciting violence, contributing to unruliness or delinquency, and assault.

The Northeast Ohio Media Group reports the autistic girl's mother said the child suffered a fractured nose and other injuries. She called Harris an "animal."
