MONROE TOWNSHIP, Ohio -- Clermont County deputies discovered a meth lab in a Monroe Township home early Tuesday morning, authorities said.

According to the Clermont County Sheriff's Office, deputies arrived at the home on Harvey Creek Road shortly after midnight regarding outstanding arrest warrants for two people.

Deputies arrested one of the wanted persons, Steven J. Snouffer, without incident. He was wanted for child support evasion, officials said.

While searching for the second suspect, deputies found a "1 pot" meth lab. Snouffer, 38, admitted to deputies on the scene that he was cooking meth in the home. The lab was dismantled and narcotics agents will continue their investigation and present charges to a grand jury.
