The FDA reports that Meijer is recalling some fresh salad and sandwich products over possible Salmonella contamination.

Specifically, the Markets of Meijer egg salads, potato salads and chicken salads containing eggs sold between June 20 and 25 are part of the recall.

Prime Foods LLC, the company that provides cooked eggs for Meijer's fresh products, notified Meijer of a positive test for Salmonella in a recent product batch. The FDA says there have been no known illnesses reported to Meijer from these products.
