Not everybody is happy that new Reds second baseman Scooter Gennett was assigned the number four. Former Reds player Brandon Phillips said that Scooter getting assigned four — which was Phillips' number — was a "slap in the face."
But after Scooter's historic night hitting four home runs (not to mention the 10 RBIs) against the St. Louis Cardinals, Gennett has earned the number four.
