Chemical bomb found in Price Hill

CINCINNATI - Cincinnati police and other authorities continue to investigate the discovery of a chemical bomb in Lower Price Hill on Friday.

A person called 911 shortly before noon to report someone had set off the bomb between two cars on State Avenue and Hatmaker Street.

There were no injuries reported and it's unclear if the bomb was detonated. Members of the bomb squad and fire department were also called to the scene.

Authorities returned to the scene later Friday afternoon, but have not released any other information.

This is the second instance where someone discovered a homemade bomb this week. Police say four people set off numerous chemical bombs in Lemon Township on Tuesday. Three men and a woman are facing charges in connection to that case.
