CINCINNATI - An NFL player returned to his Tri-State neighborhood Monday to encourage students.
Defensive lineman Greg Scruggs of the Seattle Seahawks spoke to students at Winton Hills Academy.
"I made a special effort to be here today to be able to share with these kids my story, my journey and really give them some light at the end of the tunnel. Let them know you can do whatever you want to do as long as you put young mind to it. Regardless of the circumstances, there are no restrictions to your ceiling," said Scruggs.
Scruggs says he feels he is here for a purpose and that the NFL is a platform for him to teach kids to avoid life-changing mistakes.
