CHEVIOT, Ohio - A Cheviot dad is in police custody Friday morning after his own children had to call 911 when he allegedly overdosed on heroin.
Police arrested 32-year-old Nicholas Moll Thursday afternoon after his children, ages 6 and 8, called 911 after they found him passed out from an alleged heroin overdose at their home on School Section Road in Cheviot. Officials say paramedics found Moll turning purple after the overdose with suspected heroin near him.
Officials say Moll fell down on a glass table and broke it, too.
The children ran to a neighbor's house to call 911, according to officials.
Moll is charged with two felony counts of child endangering and a misdemeanor count of possessing a drug abuse instrument.
Officials have not released any additional details at this time.
A judge set Moll's bond at $3,000 during a Friday court hearing.
