Where did you go to college?:
I earned a B.A. in Communication from Southern Oregon University. And, I earned an M.A. and a Ph.D. from the University of Oregon School of Journalism and Communication.

What are you most proud of when it comes to your work?:
I am most proud of telling stories and doing reporting that make a difference in peoples’ lives. I am also proud winning an Emmy for my reporting.

What are you most proud of in your own life?:
I am most proud of working hard to achieve my career goals as a journalist and creating some lasting friendships as I’ve moved across the country (twice!).

What do you love about living in the Tri-State?:
I love how friendly everyone is. I’ve never lived in a place where people I don’t know say ‘hello’ while I’m walking down the street, or ask me how I’m doing. I also love the Cincinnati skyline and the green, rolling hills across the area.

What are your favorite local hangouts/places, sports & cultural institutions?:
I enjoy the many craft brews found in OTR. I’m a sucker for a good brunch. I love college football, and am an huge fan of the Oregon Ducks since I’m an alum. And I love running through Smale Waterfront Park, and Eden Park.
