1. Washington Park

If you are looking for fun, free, or low-priced events surrounded by a beautiful landscape, Washington Park is the right place. It is constantly being updated with several events that help the community interact, including a dog park for all the K-9's to intermingle. It continues to evolve, and the people of Cincinnati support its progress by attending its free concerts, doing yoga in the park, or even just relaxing in the civic lawn. 2. Kings Island $$

If you love thrills and want to experience the largest amusement park as well as Water Park in the Midwest, go to Kings Island! This park features various attractions for people who love heights as well as those who fear being on top of the world. The water park is right next to the amusement park so whenever you are done with one, you can take a train that connects both parks. It is open all summer with varying hours and in Halloween, it is decorated accordingly. A Kings Island Pass will get you into both parks unlimited amounts of time.

3. The Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden $$

A large range of species are abundant in the Cincinnati Zoo, including baby animals. In these 70 acres of land, if feeding goats is not for you, there is a 4-D theater, train and carousel that you can ride. There are over 500 animals and 3,000 plant species for the animal and plant-lovers.

4. Fountain Square

Located in the heart of Downtown, Fountain Square is an area for attending fun events or even having something nice to eat. As the name suggests, the fountain located in the middle of the square makes this area look stunning, attracting people of all ages. During the summer there are events going on everyday, including concerts, trivia and dancing!

5. Krohn Conservatory $

Krohn Conservatory is a special area with several exhibits that change throughout the year. It is most widely recognized for its Butterfly Exhibit, where butterflies flutter their wings all around the show room and land on people. There is also a waterfall in Krohn's famous rainforest, including a variety of plants that are always on display.

6. Carew Tower $

You cannot miss this if you want to fully experience Cincinnati. The view from the top of this building is astounding, including the Cincinnati skyscraper and the Ohio River waterfront. Apart from the amazing view this edifice offers, this 49-story building also has impressive history since 1930.

7. BB Riverboats Sightseeing Tour $$

To see more that Cincinnati has to offer, a Riverboat Sightseeing Tour is perfect. It cruises around the Ohio River during the daytime so you are able to observe everything that encompasses what Cincinnati is! The price is worth the time spent on the boat because not only are there games that are offered in the sightseeing tours, but there is also the spectacular view from the Ohio River borderline. 8. Eden Park $

Yet another spectacular view of Cincinnati! This is one of Cincinnati's most popular parks, as it includes several landmarks, such as the Cincinnati Art Museum, Cincinnati Playhouse, the Hinkle Magnolia Garden, fountains and lakes. There are pathways that allow people to walk around and enjoy the beautiful outdoors.

9. Coney Island $-$$

Coney Island is a smaller amusement and water park with various attractions and thrills located near the Ohio River. It has slides, rides and carnival games, which guarantee a day of fun for a big group outing!

1. Newport on the Levee $$

Anything from entertainment to live music to food can be found here! It is located across the Ohio River in Kentucky, where the perfect view of the Ohio skyline can be seen. Here, the Newport Aquarium is also located, as well as the famous Purple People Bridge that you must cross to fulfill the Newport experience! Bars and comedy clubs are also located here, offering the perfect nightlife combination.

2. Mount Adams $-$$

During the day, people surround Eden Park, which is located in Mount Adams; during the night, however, Mount Adams comes alive with its several bars and restaurants. It is the perfect location for those who are 21 and over.

3. Over The Rhine $-$$

Another location that comes alive in the nighttime is Over the Rhine. Not only is it constantly being remodeled, but what is already there makes for a great night out! Over the Rhine is full of pubs, bars (including Karaoke bars), and restaurants with great vibes and wonderful people.

Great pubs located in the boundary between East Liberty St., East Central Parkway and Race Street.

Most are open until 2am.


4. Dinner Cruise at BB Riverboats $$-$$$

The Riverboats are offered both during the daytime and nighttime. During the night, dinner is served, and the beautiful lit-up Cincinnati skyline can be observed from the Ohio River. It is the great combination of food and a great view. They serve different foods according to the day you attend. If you don't want food, however, you can purchase the Sightseeing Only option to enjoy the splendid view Cincinnati has to offer.

5. Hollywood Casino $$-$$$

Located in Indiana, yet only twenty minutes away from downtown Cincinnati, Hollywood Casino offers a night full of fun along with gambling, dining and great entertainment. There are over 2,500 slot machines, live entertainment, and dealers who are dressed like celebrities, such as Elvis Presley and Rod Stewart! If you do not want to drive back to Cincinnati, there is also a glamorous hotel.

6. Arnold's Bar and Grill $-$$

7. MainStrasse Village Association

9. Horseshoe Casino Cincinnati $$-$$$
