HARRISON, Ohio – After giving up 32 points in a loss to Mount Healthy last week, Harrison shut out Ross, 49-0 at Bill Kuntz Field on Friday.

The Wildcats scored on their first drive, capped off by a fourth and goal run by senior quarterback Jake Weber.

Weber threw an 11-yard touchdown to A. J. Glines, making it 14-0.

Glines would finish with over 100 yards receiving.

“Our running back, Justin Conners, was the key for our offense tonight because he helped open the passing game for me and Jake,” Glines said.

Harrison’s Mitchell Hogue intercepted a pass on the next drive, and the Wildcats capitalized with a 1-yard touchdown run by Weber.

Conners ran in another TD to make it a four-score game, and the Wildcats forced another turnover as linebacker Luke Bowman intercepted a screen pass and took it 75 yards for a touchdown to close out the first half.

Justin Conners would run in another score for the Wildcats from three yards out on their opening drive of the second half, and Harrison back-up quarterback Mitchell Hogue ran in another touchdown to finish the scoring.

Harrison intercepted two more passes down the stretch to cap off the shutout.
