Holy Cross scored two runs in the top of the eighth to beat Holmes, 6-4 on Friday.

Sophomore Max Schwalbach drove in three runs and picked up his first varsity win.
Schwalbach singled in a run in the second and another on a base hit in the fourth, and he lifted a sacrifice fly in the fifth. He moved from center fielder to the mound in the fourth and hurled five scoreless innings.
