Simon Kenton blew a nine-run lead but won in walk-off fashion.
Junior catcher Samantha Perkins singled, stole second and scored on a throwing error in the bottom of the seventh to lift the Pioneers to a 14-13 win over Williamstown on Wednesday.
Junior designated hitter Chelcey Broughton tripled home three runs in the bottom of the first to open the scoring and plated one with a double during a six-run second that saw Simon Kenton extend its lead to nine.
The Demons stormed back with 13 runs in the fourth and fifth innings combined to take a four-run lead, 13-9.
But in the bottom of the fifth, Pioneers sophomore right-hander Hannah Perry doubled in two, fifth-grade second baseman Macy Krohman knocked in another with a two-bagger and the tying run came home on a groundout.

DIXIE HEIGHTS 14, LUDLOW 0 – Junior right fielder Kaylin Metzger hit a grand slam during a seven-run third inning for the Colonels.
It was the first career home run for Metzger, who belted it to left center field. She also singled home Dixie Heights’ first run in the second inning.
Colonels sophomore shortstop Ellis McCarthy doubled home two in the fifth inning to ice it.

NOTRE DAME 15, HOLMES 0 – Junior right-hander Haylee Smith threw a no-hitter, went 4-for-4 with four doubles and drove in four runs.
Smith was one walk away from a perfect game.
Sophomore right fielder Abby Jones and senior left fielder Kelsey Michael both belted three-run doubles. Jones’ came in the second inning and Michael smacked hers in the fourth.

Freshman third baseman Justine Lampke belted a pair of three-baggers. She drove in three runs in the first inning, one more in the third and finished with five RBI.
Freshman shortstop Alehia Tucker knocked home three with a bases-loaded triple in the fourth.
