Beechwood advanced with a first-round win in the regional All ‘A’ Tournament, beating Dayton, 59-27 at Dayton on Monday.

Tigers junior guard Jacob Huff led all scorers with 18 points. Junior guard Connor Brock and sophomore guard Kyle Fieger also reached double digits, posting 12 and 10 points, respectively.

Beechwood will play Heritage at 6 p.m. on Thursday.

NEWPORT 78, COVINGTON LATIN 14 – Wildcats junior guard Paul Price rolled up nine points in the first quarter in a first-round regional All ‘A’ Classic game at Dayton.

Price finished with a game-high 19 points, sophomore guard Ethan Snapp added 17 and sophomore guard Ryan Ochoa chipped in 11 in the Newport win.

The Wildcats will play Holy Cross at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
