WCPO has partnered with TriStateFootball.com to present the High School Football Player of the Week. Each week 10-14 nominees will be selected from a large list of some of the area’s top performances and will be included in an online voting poll to determine a winner.
The voting opens no later than Monday afternoon each week and ends each Friday morning at 9:00 a.m. Voting is limited to one vote per hour, per IP address. Networks that share a single IP may experience problems in repeating voting, so please be aware of that while casting your vote.
Once a player wins once, they will be ineligible to be nominated a second time.
All of the season winners will be recognized and receive a plaque at the TriStateFootball.com Year in Review shows in January (more details announced during postseason)

Tyler Anderson, New Richmond - Scored twice and finished with 101 yards on 17 carries in a 31-0 win over Ame
Drew Barker, Conner - Tossed seven touchdown passes and threw for 279 yards in the Cougars victory over Holy Cross.
Khiren Beamon, Oak Hills - Intercepted three passes including a 55-yards pick six in the Highlanders rout of Princeton.
Malik Bland, Withrow - Punched two scores in on the ground and threw for another as Withrow won for the sixth time in seven tries vs. Shroder.
Cody Boxrucker, Badin - Picked up 112 yards and a TD on 24 carries as the Rams rallied from at 17-0 halftime deficit to beat Chamdinade Julienne.
David Chenault, Lakota East - Possted a career-high 198 yards with three rushing scores as the Thunderhawks ended a four-game skid by beating Middletown.
Mac Franzen, Newport Central Catholic - Threw for 176 yards with four touchdown passes and a 35-yards rushing score as NewCath beat Newport.
Ryan Frey, St. Xavier - Caught eight passes for 103 yards with a touchdown and 179 all-purpose yards as the Bombers took down LaSalle.
Austin Jackson, Turpin - Nailed two first-half field goals for the game's only scores in Turpin’s 6-0 victory over rival Anderson.
Roberto London, Scott - Had 13 carries for 172 yards and two touchdowns as the Eagles improved to 7-0 with their win over Grant County.
Will Marty, Wyoming - Went 12/15 for 249 yards and five touchdown passes as the Cowboys won their fourth straight contest.
Ethan Springer, Beechwood - Racked up 144 yards and four touchdown rushing as Beechwood belted Bellevue.
Maurice Thomas, Talawanda - Returned after missing five games and ran for 175 yards on 12 totes with four rushing touchdowns as the Braves snapped a four game losing streak.
Antonio Woods, Summit Country Day - Tallied 195 yards and two touchdowns through the air and added 87 more yards and a TD on the ground against North College Hill.
