Badin sophomore Cody Boxrucker voted Tri-State High School Football Player of the Week

Badin sophomore Cody Boxrucker was voted the WCPO Player of the Week for Week 7, picking up 2,746 votes (29.5 percent).

The Rams’ running back tallied 124 yards and a touchdown on 24 carries to help Badin beat Chaminade Julienne.

Boxrucker edged out Talawanda’s Maurice Thomas to win the award. David Chenault of Lakota East finished third in the voting conducted by TriStateFootball.com. In total, 14 players were nominated with 9.318 votes casted.
