BALTIMORE - Bengals tight end Jermaine Gresham was running on the field about 10:45 this morning. By 11:45 he was ruled out of today's game against the Baltimore Ravens.
Gresham, who has been slowed by a groin injury, is one of seven Bengals declared inactive for the game.
The other inactive players include linebackers Rey Maualuga and Michael Boley, center Trevor Robinson, guard Tanner Hawkinson, defensive tackle Devon Still and cornerback Chris Lewis-Harris.
Alex Smith will start at tight end in place of Gresham. Vincent Rey will start at middle linebacker in place of Maualuga.
The Ravens inactive list includes defensive backs Asa Jackson and Omar Brown, running back Bernard Scott, center Ryan Jensen, wide receiver Brandon Stokley, linebacker John Simon and defensive tackle Brandon Williams.
